The long range mission of Friends of Butterfly Gardens Inc. is to establish a Butterfly State Park at our gardens.

The future Butterfly State Park will be funded by donations to a Monarch Butterfly Endowment State Park fund at the Community foundation of the Fox Cities, Appleton, Wi.  The goal is to create a million dollar endowment fund.  The endowment would provide funds to transfer the property to the State of Wisconsin and to pay for future state park expenses.

A majority of the donations will be funded by Legacy Partners of our organization.  Thus, we are asking individuals, businesses and organizations to be a part of this long range mission.  We are creating an ad hoc future state park committee to achieve this goal.
